Dalton the tech was phenomenal. I received a call from the technician Dalton who informed me he was in transit to my home to perform preventative maintenance on my oil burner. He arrived in a quickly and timely manner. He vacuumed the system, replaced the nozzle, filter, and strainer, and performed a combustion test, I believe he stated, and I must say what an exceptional young man. For being 20 years old, he seems to be doing an outstanding job in general. Very personal, very well spoken, and is a very valuable asset to have at Modern Comfort. He did great, and I will be sure to always ask for him, as he provides exceptional service, and I thank him very much for that. Please let him know he did a great job, and I’m very pleased. Thanks again.

Tech Anthony was very pleasant and efficient and quickly diagnosed the problem (the need for a new hot water mixing valve) on his first call. However, the tech who performed the annual maintenance check on the system the previous fall said he could find nothing wrong with the hot water flow or temperature. We waited until we had lukewarm water at best before I requested another service call. The replacement valve had to be ordered by the Tevis parts department, and I was told it would be delivered within a week. A couple of business days after the estimated delivery date I called and was told the part was in and I would be contacted "very soon" by a dispatcher who would schedule the appointment to replace the valve. Two days later I still had not received a scheduling call and was finally able to be transferred to a dispatcher when I called customer service. The repair the next day took about 30 minutes, and a second technician was part of the call. Although I rate the technicians highly for their work, the overall customer service from Tevis was poor. The repair occurred two weeks after the diagnostic call and should have been completed sooner. I have the higher-level service contract and expected much better.

The sevice experience was exceptional. First the customer service representative at Modern Comfort understood my situation (circulator pump leak at boiler) and took action to prepare a touble request. Within hours I recieved a call from the service technican (MNM) who stated he was in route and arrived in a timely manner. He quickly determined the cause of the (water leak) he explained his course of action, acquired a new pump and did the replacememnt/installation promptly. MNM understanding of the boiler heating system and components is exceptional, he is very professional, well spoken and is a credit to Modern Comfort. I have taken action to request him by name to provide the annual service for both my residence and a rental property. I have been a heating and cooling service customer with modern comfort for over 25 years and greatly appreciate the exceptional service. Keep up the good work and please extend my appreciation to MNM for his skill and technical knowledge regarding my recent water leak problem. Thanks again

While cleaning our Church Building (Cornerstone Church, Manchester Md. formerly Masonry Contractors Office), Matt was doing some evaluation of the various systems on the premises. He was a very personable man and was accommodating as to our task in cleaning in the various places in the building. He was diligent at his mission and seemed to be skilled and accountable in his trade. All in all as far as the public is concerned he provided a good representation of your company!

It was easy to schedule (and reschedule) my annual maintenance appointment for my HVAC. Dalton, the technician, was prompt, courteous and explained what he was inspecting.

It was a pleasure to meet Matt today, he was marvelous! Polite, respectful, personable, and knowledgeable. We appreciate knowing that our newly installed furnace will be well looked after in the future. Thank you!
